The province of Ragusa is the youngest (1926) and less extended sicilian province. Located in the south-eastern part of Sicily, it has a population of 300.000 inhabitants on a territory of 1600 Km².
Because of different reasons, the province of Ragusa is a charming and interesting tourist itinerary: the landscape with its fields and characteristic dry-stone walls, the turquoise sea and the sunny beaches, the baroque towns included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, the tradition and the history.
Ragusa is essentially a rural province that instill peace and serenity, for these reasons it is the perfect place for a restoring holiday.
Recently, these beautiful aspects became famous in Italy and all around the world thanks to the italian tv series "Il Commissario Montalbano" and other films that have these splendid places as film set, contributing to stand out the true soul of this enchanting part of Sicily.
